Unfortunately, the death of one of our Sibes happens. It happened to my girl, Isis. It is always a very sad time and people have different reactions / feelings. Even other pets are affected by the loss. The sadness at their passing does fade a bit after time, and the happy memories seem to be remembered. But, it is never an easy time. Here is her new home. The porcelain Sibe (who looks amazingly like she did) sits on top of her box watching over her.

Some people have their pets buried, others have them cremated. When Isis died in February 2009, she was cremated. Her ashes are inside the box, where she is now. The most important thing to remember, though, is how you treat your Sibes (and other living things) in life. We "deal" with death, we have the power to "affect" life. You can see Isis' memorial page under the section entitled "memorials".

It is springtime and everyone knows it. There are many natural things out in the yard for toys. In this picture, it is just a stick- a great joy.

Now, here's my girl, Suka. The reason that I put this up is to show you how coat can regrow in differently. Suka needed a medication patch and had to have some hair shaved. It is all regrown, but it is obvious where it was. That is only one of many reason why Siberians should not be shaved, except in necessary medical reasons (as this case was). Suka is fine now, got through her procedure with flying colors and is doing great- a happy and healthy member of the Amarok pack.

Kayta is on the show circuit still, but some pics have come in. she is maturing so quickly and has radically changed into an adult Sibe since she left.

Here's another picture of her relaxing. She should be coming home within the next few months and it will be wonderful to have her back with the Amarok clan!

Spring (2010) is around the corner and this is what many of my Siberians want to do...lolly around in the sun. Here is Suka (L) with her little hole dug in the snow. T'Kaya on the right on the top crust.
